This course is ideal for people who require an annual update and have already gained experience and understanding of Care Planning and Documentation. 

Learning Objectives

  • To define what is meant by person centred care 
  • To identify the principles of a person centred care approach

  • To identify benefits and barriers to using the person centred care approach in social care 
  • To define what is meant by mental capacity
  • To explore the key principles in MCA 2005
