INFANT & CHILDCARE TRAINING

Our Safeguarding of Children (Child Protection) course is designed to raise awareness of safeguarding issues and identify the correct procedures that all childcare practitioners should be aware of to address any safeguarding issues.

Our Care Planning and Documentation training enables learners to help create and maintain care plans and records that are designed for individual interventions that are designed to meet specific individual needs for the people in their care. 

Our Nutrition and Hydration training enables care givers and support workers to identify possible outcomes of malnutrition and under hydration and suggests how these potential problems can be overcome by encouraging and supporting positive eating and drinking.

This accredited qualification provides theoretical and practical training in Emergency First Aid techniques that are specific to infants aged 0 to 1, and children aged from 1 year old. All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines (2015) as per the HSE requirements.

The Ofsted requirements for Nannies and Au Pairs depend on whether registration is required. Regulations for the Childcare Register require the childminder or home child care to have an appropriate first aid qualification that meets the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines (2015).

First Aid for Teachers is designed for teachers to have a basic understanding of first aid techniques for conditions that they may encounter when looking after children.  The course covers primary and secondary care skills while meeting the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines (2015).
